Family Reflection
He or she would probably say that we are independant and hardworking. We work better alone together, but if we put our efforts together after doing it alone, we can accomplish great things.
Character qualities that are high on my family list is consistency, independence and determination. We also-I always-pull through on things we are asked to do.
Lesson 2
Extension
Goal: write a novel of at least 100, 000 words.
Specific = I want to write a good novel.
Measurable = Withtin 1-2 years.
Action-oriented = I'll need to write about 5-10k words a month.
Realistic = Sure, it's doable.
Timely = 1-2 years? No problem.
Family Reflection
Family goals...I guess our only goal is to be a good family and just be happy. We rarely communicate much as a family so that is basically the one thing we want: to talk about things together and do family things.
Lesson 3
Extension
Long ago a little girl thought no one could understand,
She was sad from so many things and nothing made her happy,
Then finally someone came and lent a hand,
She smiled right up with glee.
For she was understood at last,
Now she yearns to know what others feel,
And everyone's feelings are understood fast,
For she's the one who listens and heals.
Family Reflection
We live by hard work. We always work hard for our goals and we never, ever give up.
Lesson 4
Extension
Part A
1) I think i might feel a little bit annoyed and angry.
2) I would walk up to them and tell the kids that it's no safe or respectful to throw things at people.
Part B
1) I'd probably be sympathetic to their cause. I would no longer be mad or even the little bit annoyed. I would probably just be worried.
2) I would say that I was sorry for getting angry at them and i would probably help them in any way i could.
Family Reflection
Sometimes my mother judges my brother and I took quickly. She thinks we haven't done something (cause most of the time we really haven't done it) and scolds us. On the times we actually do it, she realizes her wrong and apologizes...kindly.

Family Reflection
Definitely bankrupt. My family relations are really poor. It's shocking that it's even called a "family relation." I think i should obey my mother more, but with my brother-who cares if it's bankrupt? It's not like he ever tries to make his EBA higher with me. =] *hehe*.
Lesson 6
Extension
1) She was being proactive because instead of making an accuse, she made up for her mistake.
2) He is being reactive because you can always improvise and do something else.
3) Proactive. She didn't let the fact of not getting a part stop her from being involved.
Family Reflection
We are reactive whenever we don't do something we should. For example, my mother gets really angry when I don't practice piano. We should listen before shouting.
Lesson 7
Extension
A) a. Well, you have some horrible secrets too! b. I'm sorry you feel this way.
B) a. I would tell her to "Get out of my life, you jerk!" b. I would wait for her to cool down, then tell her my feelings one morning when she's available and listening.
Family Reflection
Less arguing, more sharing.
Lesson 8
Extension
Family. No one in my family understands me and they're all so busy with other things to care. I haven't been doing anything, but trying to get them to realize. I think i should just tell them when I can. Maybe a "Mother, can i tell you something?" will work.
Family Reflection
No more "I'm sorry I'm like this", more "I can do better than this."
Lesson 9
Extension
Stop. Do you really want to do that?
Do you really want to give your chances away?
Stop. Think. Look at the options.
Play what you think is the best,
Not just some measly secondhand excuse,
Go with only the best.
Stop again. Mistakes can be erased...
Say the right things,
Press "pause" and think only the BEST.
-"Be practical as well as generous in your ideals. Keep your eyes on the stars, but remember to keep your feet on the ground."

*LISTEN, PAUSE, HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS*
Lesson 10

I'm rushing to work on a Saturday, surprised at how late I was because I was trying to get my novel published. Family and writing is important to me. I would have gotten a job and finished a novel. My friends would think it's the same me
