Had a busy weekend for once~ Lots to write, not much important or necessary, but nonetheless: I present to you my WEEKEND BLOG! As this is a big blog, there is a PotWE instead of WoTD. PotWE? Phrase of the WeekEnd. It shall be revealed later =] By the way, if anytime while reading this you feel a need for a chocolate bar...GO FOR IT!
Let's start with the midnight of Friday. In other words, 12:00am of Saturday. Guess what? I was still awake! Studying for the exam, perhaps? Not a chance! You know me. I'm an excellent example of the modern day procrastinator. No, not a slacker. Slackers are different. They DON'T do their work AT ALL. Anyways, I was procrastinating my sleep at midnight. Why? Part of me wants to think that I just didn't want tomorrow to come (exam and all =/), but the dominant part of me knows the truth: I have a terrible addiction to computer games. Yesh, I'm horrible. I was up till 2am!
Moving on to later Saturday... 12:00pm. A phone call wakes me up with my delightful dream. My mom is calling me. (Notice I skipped Chinese School today? =D) "WHY AREN'T YOU AWAKE YET? WHAT'S THE POINT OF SKIPPING SCHOOL IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE THAT TIME TO STUDY? GET UP! WE'RE GOING OUT SOON!" Well at that point all I could think of was: "EXAM! EXAM! EXAM!" It was my own personal alarm. As soon as my mother stopped talking, I raced and did what I do best: Rush. Pencil. Eraser. Toothbrush. The whole thing seems like a blur to me. So don't quiz me on it.
Let's move on...BEFORE THE EXAM: Nervousness. My friend (Winnie! xD) has a lot of friends...I know that's irrelevant, but I have nothing much else to say about BEFORE. (I had lunch before the exam which was at 2pm. No detail about lunch will be uselessly provided.) DURING THE EXAM: Serious HEADACHE! Who knew theory (counterpoint!) can hurt your brain that much? Note to self: bring water for next time. AFTER THE EXAM: Winwin took longer than I did. Still, I had to wait for her since my mom was driving us. Our next destination(s): Home, then off to RC. (Richmond Centre.)
AT RICHMOND CENRE: CHRISTMAS SHOPPING! =D Have you done your shopping yet? It also started snowing~!!! =D =D =D =D
That basically sums up my Saturday. Busy. Really busy. Let's move onto Sunday.
Morning: Quick piano lessons. Recital later on.
Afternoon: Lunch. Then off to Oakridge Mall for Piano Recital at 2pm...Notice a trend here? 2pm is awful! It lasted approximately 1 and a half hours. Spent the time (when waiting for our turn to play, our = Winwin + me) counting the crowds. Strange that the older you are, the more people want to watch you play. Even the adorable children playing couldn't match the crowds for the older ones.
After the recital: More shopping. Another trend =D Too bad it isn't snowing though.
PotWE: "Music is the moonlight in the gloomy night of life." -Jean Paul. That would have been a nice theme for the recital. Everyone loves music. Even if they don't like the popular genres of music...even silence is music itself.
And this ends the super long WEEKEND BLOG! Have a nice day =D
